This pair of French Louis XVI Hand Carved Fauteuil Armchairs is such a great find. An impressive pair of French hand carved and painted fauteuil with musical instrument details on the crest and acanthus detail throughout. The legs are fluted, typical of the Louis XVI period.
Recently upholstered in a new White French Linen and nail tacks. Very good antique condition, consistent with age and use.
